And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

I'm learning that, since I'm part of this body, whenever someone experiences joy, I can. Whenever someone experiences pain, I will. Because of that dynamic, when I see someone losing their mind in joy, I can rejoice with them. At the same time, they help me through my pain because they experience it with me.

All of this near-mystical craziness is a part of being connected to each other through the Spirit and it's awesome. We're never alone if we remember that we are one Body -- a cohesive, loving community of people -- called to experience life with God together no matter where it takes us as individual people.

So today, I can smile watching people on youtube lose themselves completely to joy for just two or three minutes and even join in if I want to and so can you.

If you need a pick-me-up today, find someone somewhere that's experiencing joy and drink in their experience. It might be infectious. It certainly has been for me.
