An Odd Challenge, An Interesting Response

This week, I've decided to do something interesting. This isn't necessarily a biblical thing, however I think the result of it could prove interesting.

I decided to try not asking questions for a week. None at all if at all possible. I've slipped up here and there, but there is an interesting boldness I find in not asking questions and some other side items of interest:
  • i'm bolder with things i need to say since i can't feign humility by asking a question
  • i'm clearer with my intentions because i cannot mask them with a question
  • getting what i need or want is easier because there's more force to my words; not being able to ask for the item adds sharpness to my statements
  • it also adds sharpness to my thoughts since I have to avoid thinking about things in the form of a question
If you would like the challenge, I'll invite you on this journey with me for this week. It generates an interesting power all its own. Aside from that, it challenges your heart. If you do try, comment here and let me know what you run into.
