Do It Now

The only time we really have is the present moment. Even with a mind toward eternity, this is the only moment that we have to impact it. If the Word says our lives are vapors that are only here for a moment, then gone, imagine how much shorter this moment is. That said, if there is something God has put in you to do or be, then get to it!! We're so foolish. We act like there will be a later to laugh or pray or comfort someone in. You aren't promised that. You aren't promised that. I've heard it said that what the church needs to regain is sensitivity to a moment. While that is true, I think the church needs to gain the courage (read as: raging, reckless abandon of heart and mind in a positive way) to do what God asks in the moments that He chooses to wield us as supernatural forces in the world we're in. Sing the song, play the instrument, cry, laugh, hug someone, whatever form it is just be obedient. You aren't guaranteed another chance to try and you're not here long anyway.
